Located a short distance north of the Inner Harbor attractions, the 1st Mariner Arena is the largest indoor sports and entertainment facility in Baltimore, hosting an average of 120 events a year, including Sesame Street Live, the Ringling Bros. and Barnum and Bailey Circus, and Disney on Ice. Oriole Park at Camden Yards is the state-of-the-art ballpark facility and official home of the Orioles, seating 48,876 fans and featuring steal trusses, arched brick façade, a sunroof over the upper deck, an asymmetrical playing field, and a natural grass turf. The ballpark is located within walking distance from the Inner Harbor and the Otterbein and Federal Hill neighborhoods of downtown Baltimore. Oriole Park is also located just two blocks from the birthplace of baseball legend, George Herman “Babe” Ruth, and two sports museums—the Sports Legends Museum at Camden Yards and the Babe Ruth Birthplace Museum. Public and private tours of Oriole Park are available, as well as all-inclusive birthday party packages for children 14 years old and under.
